ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This picture takes place in the "Seascapes" collection. It is painted with palet knives, mixed technique, on three 40x40cm canvasses so the total size is 40x120cm. The "Night and day regatta" serie uses strong colors contrasts in order to create a dynamic movement. The proportions are based on the golden ratio. The wide black and white flats are gold-enhanced and applied with masonry tools. The boats are scupted with black and white gessos. Strength and contrast are characteristic of Mikha's style. This picture was painted with acrylic, metal, sandy colors and lacquer. The picture is signed on the bottom right. The picture is varnished.
