Heavy Duty Frame, 100% Natural cotton Duck, Includes hanging wired. A depiction of Black Gay Punk at rest with the total confidence of their body and sexual expression and pride. A look in a Black gay punk on their off day, just not doing anything and not consuming the trauma of social media. Just enjoying a beer and just chilling on his bed as a part of leisure that would, typically be seen as negative. regarding certain stereotypes with Black people and drinking. I hope viewer will see this no different as their friends from their punk scene; doing a similar thing.

Arthur Sangster is a Queer painter born and raised in Saint Louis who received a BFA in New Studio Practice from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and awarded the David and Reva Logan Foundation grant in 2021. He is an emerging artist who has shown work in group shows in Chicago and Milwaukee, during his time studying at MIAD. Arthur Sangster does work on Queer Sexuality, Identity, and romance and relationship experience with each painting focusing on a specific theme. Regarding: lost of an ex, avoiding trauma consumption, feelings and difficulties within interracial situationship within the punk scene in South City Saint Louis, and dealing with coming into his truth with his sexuality and orientation. His some of his recent paintings are influence by specific text and quote from music and specific figures who have discussed their relationships.
