My name is Brian and I do art in my free time. At age 28, after spending my 20s as a software engineer, I decided to put more time into my art and pursue it more seriously. Since then I have tried to consistently develop my skills and improve my ability to express myself through the visual medium. My art journey is a work in progress. I want to be able to depict not just the beauty of day to day living, but also to somehow encapsulate the anxiety, fear and struggle of it. I use my feelings of anxiety and self doubt as a form of motivation. I want to create art that makes me feel better. I believe that art (in all forms) crystalizes the struggles of human life and gives you space to reflect and see things from a different perspective. It highlights the beauty that is always there but that we usually only get rare glimpses of.
