I was born in 1966 and raised on Kibbutz Ein Carmel, Israel. After many years of living and creating by the sea in Hadera with my wife and our three children, in 2024 my wife and I relocated to the Piedmont region of Italy—a move that brought with it fresh inspiration and a renewed creative spirit. For over two decades, I have been painting with oils and acrylics on canvas and various other materials. My work spans a range of themes shaped by my personal passions and interests. Some pieces are inspired by photographs I’ve taken—visual moments that sparked something within me—while others arise entirely from my imagination, as if drawn from a dream onto the canvas. The sea is a central motif in my work, reflecting a lifelong connection to water. I have been deeply involved in water sports, including competitive sailing, and the marine environment was the first subject I ever painted. My seascapes are meant to immerse the viewer—to evoke the sound of crashing waves, the feel of sand between toes, and the scent of the salty breeze. Another focus in my practice is figurative painting—portraits and studies of the human form, particularly the female body. I explore these with sensitivity and depth, aiming to capture both beauty and vulnerability. In recent years, my work has expanded into the realms of abstraction and landscapes, using acrylics and guided by a more intuitive, emotional approach to color and composition. My art is an open invitation—to feel, to imagine, and to step momentarily into my world.
