The magic of the Forest Painting

BIO Liubov is an interdisciplinary artist, specialized in floral painting and pattern design based in Slovenija, Europe. Her whole career is related to creativity and design. Liubov has a professional education as a designer and successful experience in furniture industry and interior design. Today, nature occupies the main place in her work, which is reflected in her artistic and commercial activities. Her work is in private collections in Thailand, China, Australia, USA, Canada and Spain. Now Liubov lives in Slovenia and continues her career as an artist, creating works about the relationship between nature and man, takes part in exhibitions. She is working on a new collection of paintings and also collaborating with a number of companies, creating unique prints and patterns for wallpaper and textiles. ARTIST'S STATEMENT I am Love (Liubov- transl.). That's my name, and that's my way of exploring and reimagining the world around me. Today, in the dynamic rhythm of life, I feel a strong need to maintain my inner balance and be a source of light for others. So, my art is a way to connect with my true beginning, highlight everything good and good in myself and others through contemplation of the beauty of nature and connection with it. "Know yourself - and you know the world," said the ancient sages, and for me these are not just words. Moe creativity is an expansion of the picture of the world and a way of self-discovery. Contemplating nature, which opens towards the rays of the sun, I find much in common with how our souls open towards love, transforming. So, drawing resources from nature, I paint light and harmony. I find a response in the work of the Impressionists: in their solar palette and in their ability to show and display the elusive moment of the present... I convey my feeling of unity with nature on canvases with oil paints that seem to me noble and deep. Their natural shades - earthen - symbolize support, and green - a symbol of energy of growth, development and harmony. As Galen said, "Nature is the highest wisdom embodied.
