The acrylic on art board painting is glued to a rough black walnut board. This seems an appropriate reference to the roughness of  buildings Harriet would have known as a slave.
There is a normal wire for hanging the panel and the usual signature information. I particularly enjoy the beauty of the walnut -  hidden from a once-slave on the other side.
Here's a view showing the thickness of the walnut. The piece, sort of half painting and half sculpture is so solid to touch or lift.
