ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Pieta (Lamentation of Christ) is an episode from the Bible where Virgin Mary mourns the death of Christ. In my sculpture, I left a cross-sectional hole that is the silhouette of the Virgin Mary. It is empty so that each of us can find a place there.
