I grew up, live and work at the family estate, Exbury, in the New Forest in England, where my grandfather, Lionel de Rothschild built the most fabulous gardens (). I, for my sins (which are many!), am now the president of this heaven on earth. I have written a novel - 'The Banneret's Blade' a historical romp that can be found in the depths of Amazon. However, more recently I have been engaged in the creation of PhotoArt as I call it, using digital techniques to produce the original works posted here. I was, in a past life, one of the pioneers in the video industry in Soho, London. I made a few documentaries, one of which 'The Glory of the Garden' won the gold medal for best documentary at the International Film and TV Festival of New York in 1982.
