www.sibyfphotography.com I was born in 1989 in Genoa, where I currently live and work. Always passionate about art, during my artistic studies I began to take an interest in photography, but it is only thanks to the "Donna Fotografa" photography school, conducted by contemporary photographer Giuliana Traverso, that I learned the true meaning of the art of photography and that little interest has become a real love. A love that pushes me to never leave home without a camera, because the opportunity for a nice shot could present itself everywhere and at any time! I have exhibited my works in various collective exhibitions, fairs (including Photissima Art Fair in Venice and ArteGenova) and competitions. Currently, in addition to photography, I deal with the creation of wooden handicrafts. "Sibilla Fanciulli has a concrete ability to construct a metaphorical language by resorting to a few objective elements. Reserved in the photographic shot, this practice involves the strong conceptualization of the real, selectively skimmed by the artist to extract an effective and immediately understandable communication. Given for undisputed a procedure of photographic processing that acquires portions of reality to make it its own speculative object, it should also be emphasized that this same procedure forcefully introduces the beginnings of an aesthetic passion calibrated on the relationship between image and content.
