She was born in the ‘Heart of Africa’, Malawi, and has family roots on the island of Madeira, Holland and Germany, and is currently in the city of Valencia. She has decided to dedicate her life to art creation and cultural management to develop the capacity of contemporary artistic practice as a vector of empathy with ecological problems, in particular with those characterized by their ecosystem factor, thus enhancing environmental awareness. Blankenstein considers art to be a high form of social criticism and therefore the main field of aesthetic and philosophical advancement. She wants to train in the ecological humanities to develop and transmit an ecological aesthetic.
