ESPANSIONE INFINITA Sculpture

Marcello Mancuso is an Italian sculptor born in Bergamo, city where he also studied art at the A. Fantoni art school. He approaches sculpture thanks to working at one of the main artistic foundries in Bergamo, where he will have the opportunity to meet and work alongside the most important local sculptors. He attended courses in goldsmithing, gemology and setting to master the techniques of working precious metals. He's skilled in the ancient methods of patination, lacquering and gilding on wood and metal. After his apprenticeship, he began his business as a sculptor, painter, and goldsmith. Now he too is the owner of the Ancient Foundry of Art M.A.F. Milan, an art workshop that has been running for over 150 years and that is today a creative hotbed of new ideas and experiments. Mancuso's lively curiosity constantly pushes him to pursue his investigations to expand his skills and knowledge on what has become for him a life purpose.
