I am a printmaker. Favorite medium screen printing. A lot of my images are based on Danish images from the 1950's. I describe these prints as " a bit of history with a modern twist." I like to print in two ways either by the more traditional manners by layering colors or by printing once and then hand painting the image afterwards. It gives it a different feeling. I would describe my prints as playful at times ...part of me wants to make art fun again...where when the viewer has the Ah...Ha... moment -when they ""get it" without books, or docent telling them what to think. I figure a good laugh is worth a Picasso.
