Mania is a dedicated artist and adult art educator with over five decades of experience, holding an MA in Museology from UCL. Since 2006, she has been inspiring adults across Croydon and Bromley through her popular Art Appreciation and Drawing & Painting classes, which consistently reach full capacity—a testament to her engaging teaching style and deep passion for nurturing creative expression. Before focusing on adult education, Mania held senior roles as Head of Art & Design in prestigious secondary schools throughout London and Kent, where she played a pivotal role in shaping young artistic minds. Her commitment to the arts extends far beyond the classroom. She has exhibited her work internationally, including at the Seaside Gallery USA Miniature Show in 2012 and the Abstract Expressionist show at MoMA, New York in 2018. Every year, she opens the doors of her Montsale Studio for a public Open Day—an intimate chance to experience her artistic process up close. In 2024, Mania celebrated 50 years of painting and teaching with two successful solo exhibitions: one in August at 54 The Gallery in Mayfair, and another in November at Parc Langley Deli. She is currently preparing for her next solo show, scheduled for November 2025. Mania’s work is a deeply personal exploration of nature and memory, brought to life through luminous oil paintings on linen and delicate monotype water-based prints on paper. From the serene blues of the sea to the vivid bloom of Monet’s Garden in Giverny, her art evokes wonder, nostalgia, and reflection. Each piece is unique, characterised by original colour palettes and offered in limited editions, reflecting her ever-evolving artistic journey. Her creations are inspired by life’s shifting moments—capturing fleeting impressions with timeless elegance. Through her work, she invites viewers on a journey of introspection, where memory and imagination blend, and the beauty of the present is revealed in every brushstroke. All artworks shown here are available for purchase. For enquiries, please contact Mania through here at Saatchi online.
