Madrid, 1959. I started to get involved in photography in 1975 with an Olympus OM-1 and a home laboratory. It was not until 2006 that I dropped everything to concentrate exclusively on photography and Art. I completed my artistic formation with Ana Perez de Eulate and my photographic training attending workshops with Isabel Muñoz and Eduardo Momeñe in Madrid, Nikos Economopoulos in Lisbon and David Michael Kennedy in New Mexico among others. I have been responsible of photography and layout in the International Institute of Juridical Studies for its Cooperation Programs in Mauritania and Vietnam in 2005/2010. Following the tradition of documentary photography I am committed to reality. I look for a certain silence in the constant noise and rush of everyday's life. Maybe that's way I tend to reproduce a timeless world. My images are winks to draw your attention on something that must not be unnoticed. I also like to show contrast between people, the infinite styles of life. Sometimes looking from outside I recognize myself in the world, and I take that image.
