ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Trekking through the jungles and mangrove forests of Costa Rica, I came across a congregation of Egrets and Herons. I spent the next two weeks photographing them in their magical habitat. My work was recognized and shortlisted in the Sony Photography Competition and Communication Arts Magazine, and 13 images were selected for the fine art publication LensWork #118. The experience was primitive, meditative, and magical, and I hope these photographs bring the same visual awe that I experienced in the jungle of Costa Rica.
