This collaboration between photographic artists Lexi Laine and Nadia Attura, draws their shared appreciation of Mother Nature, the natural world and feminine energy. Lexi’s ethereal underwater photography and Nadia’s evocative botanical collage come together to depict a magical scene in the pristine jungles of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. In the heart of the jungle, where earth and water meet… Lexi is a freediving underwater photographer, undertaking her work in some of the most unique open water environments around the globe. More often than not her photographs depict a single female or multiple women, featuring highly skilled freedivers as the subjects. Nadia's works balance between the real and the surreal, transporting us to distant, hazy lands. Vintage, pastel tones and an illustrative approach imbue her works with a dreamlike feel that is further enhanced by her meticulous collaging. Location: Yucatan, Mexico Corazón de la Selva forms part of their ongoing project collaboration. This limited edition photograph is printed using archival inks on 100% cotton Hahnemuhle photo rag fine art paper. Each edition is signed, numbered and sent with the corresponding certificate to guarantee authenticity. The prints are carefully rolled and placed in sturdy tubes for shipping.
