This is a unique original painting, acrylic on canvas. It is a cityscape from a winter day. The prevailing overcast sky blends almost imperceptibly with the ground, broken up only by the reflections and natural light bouncing off the buildings themselves. The mix of bright red and yellow counteracts the dull black, grey, and white. It creates a sort of winter haze or daze one often feels on days such as these.

I'm a part-time artist with a predilection for modern, abstract, and abstract expressionism. I became fascinated with Jackson Pollock 10 years ago while in medical school and have been doing art ever since. I primarily sold artworks locally to make money while in training but have since established my own style and just recently expanded online. My artworks are inspired by Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. I enjoy engineering structure and linearity to what appears to be at first glance chaotic splattered paint and brush strokes as well as blurring boundaries and color. The artworks are primarily designed for the contemporary home.
