Walking in London Painting

I was born in Brindisi and raised in Lecce, a town in south of Italy, right in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. The unconventional baroque style of the local architecture and local coulture in general significantly influenced my artistic language. I’m a self-taught artist, passionate about colours and the light they reflect. My love for art making started at a very early age investigating in different media. Photography, collage and painting that developed in my true vocation. My technique developed in the combined used of vibrant acrylic and black marker on media to large canvas. What started as a passion soon became my primary occupation, due to the positive response of critic and public when i had the opportunity to exhibit. My work is influenced by German Expressionism, Cubism and Pop Art. Source of inspiration are above all Pablo Picasso, Keith Haring, Tom Wesselmann and Otto Dix. Some of my paintings are part of private collections in Italy, Great Britain (London) and Berlin. I’m now in constant activity exhibiting in Lecce, Rome, Milan, Florence, Montecarlo and London.
