Inspired by the wind (nature’s invisible element), we are invited to feel its visual embodiment in this work. Porcelli uses a large canvas that allows her to reflect, with energy and vivacious colors, dynamic spaces, interlaced movement and translucent light. This work captures the shifting effects of the wind in its natural element, yet abstracts it with a strong paintbrush that triumphs, comes and goes, slides, prolongs, and dematerialises the sea, the heat, the sky, the night, the ground, the water and anything in its path.

This work drags us into the wind’s three-dimensional world of successive contorted planes and extensive superimposed strokes, reproducing an optical illusion that allows the spectator to transcend.
