Hi, welcome to my profile. I am a self taught contemporary realistic artist from Pakistan. I am a landscape and a semi-abstract artist. I paint to describe gripping emotions, human struggles & societal, political issues through my artwork building a connection between art, life and the viewer. My semi abstract art tells a story, depicts life, & allows the viewer to experience fragilities, powers & temporalities of ourselves & our surroundings. My art has both representational & non representational styles. I paint landscapes both in realistic and abstract forms. My realistic landscapes are the artwork that i paint from the references i take myself by traveling or i imagine (day dream) then i search relevant references from the social media and recreate my imagination on my canvas. I also take refrences from professional photographers for my landscape paintings. My landscape artwork is not just scenic or recreation of an image but has a story, a meaning, a narration where i symbolically represent resilience, compassion, empathy of humans, as well as our conscious & subconscious state of minds by painting horses. I have also done floral art and still life as i love to branch out and not restrict myself to a specific theme. In my artwork my goal is to capture the emmaculate beauty of nature and allow the viewer to connect with the landscapes reliving their own pasts that reminds them of their good times spent some where in the world that brings them nostalgia as well as a feeling of belongingness. I want my viewers to feel solitude, contentment, tranquility while seeing my paintings and relieving their inner stresses for the time being.
