My name is Anna Bilyk. I was born on August 7, 1998 in Ukraine. I graduated from high school in 2015 in Kyiv. I studied at the Art School for 7 years. From the age of 12 I wanted to become an artist. I wanted to paint real huge paintings, like great artists, and paint temples. I saw this makes a lot of sense, since art carries with it a special spiritual value for a person. Therefore, I did not hesitate to go to another city in Kharkov at the Academy of Arts. Then I was very attracted to the Kharkov school of painting. This is a bright, wide and pasty painting, which has a special flavor of the mood of the Sloboda steppes. I chose easel painting. Why? Because the easel picture does not depend on the surrounding architecture! That is, a picture can exist without a wall, but on a canvas. I was always attracted by huge historical paintings in art museums and especially liked portraits. Therefore, I chose the portrait workshop. For four years I studied in Kharkov and gained vast experience in the field of art. This is oil painting, graphic techniques, tempera, mural, mosaic, ceramics. Then a huge choice of studying at various art schools opened up for me. There was a difficult choice ... I chose Kiev and entered the monumental painting. Yes, now I chose the monumental painting of sacred art. I probably expected this for a very long time, because I want to paint temples. The constant work with huge sizes of paintings is very inspiring, especially when you look that your work is bigger than you. Over time, each picture has a deeper meaning than the former. I write a lot of historical paintings on history and Christianity. I also really like to paint people, landscapes related to nature and of course I love interesting still lifes. When I paint, I am full of the strength and energy of life. I believe that art is an important part of every person. And this is all my creative path - the path of the artist.
