In the series "The daily sky" I deal with the sky that accompanies us every day. It is always there, has always been there, will always be there. My art is an expression of my inner imagery, which I achieve through calm and clarity. I am not fixed on a style, because the new always arises from the previously experienced and thus results in a perpetual process. Therefore, all series coexist on an equal footing. I am interested in the "in between". Energies that we can't really comprehend or see, but whose existence we sense. Like invisible connections between people or things around us, like our nature. During the painting process I am in a state of extreme concentration on the essential, on the "now". Nothing flows in, which is unimportant at this moment. The pictures are like cutouts that reach to the edge of the picture and can be continued there by the viewer. It is about a point of contact from which the viewer enters his own interpretive space. When my pictorial worlds merge with those of the viewer, then we come into contact with each other, then the picture lives on in the viewer.
