When i was young i fond of Greek Mythology. I depicted on canvas my favourite one "The abduction of Persephone". I wanted to convey the beauty of Persephone and the horror of Hades. I showed the completeness of the plot through a competent compositional solution, a game of contrast.

I was born and raised in Russia, the Chuvash Republic. When I was boy, I often spent my time with my grandparents in the countryside, I went to the fields, enjoying the fresh green grass smell, the blue sky, listening to birdsong and cows mooing. In those moments, love for nature was born inside me, love for what surrounds myself, and now I can reflect this childish love that has grown inside, in my works. My father is an artist, when I saw him painting, he could transfer the world around him to the canvas so realistically. So, I also wanted to paint realism, be an artist, to transfer what you see in order to reflect those feelings and emotions that you experience when contemplating the beauty. This in the future will lead me to the realism style in my works. My first works were mythical and fantasy plots, characters, because I wanted to portray my fantasy in reality. There are echoes of this in my current works "The Abduction of Persephone". My father saw in me the potential to depict anatomy and convey colors at the age of 12. He was my teacher for the next 5 years. I graduated from the Cheboksary Art School, which is famous for the eminent academicians of the country, such academies as the Academy named after Repin, named after Glazunov, etc. At the school I studied the techniques of old masters such as Shishkin, Repin, Polenov, Lauren, Monet, etc. I was inspired by the way they conveyed the state: mood, plot - you look and experience the same emotions that the artist experienced when painting a picture. Now it is also important for me that my paintings encourage people to experience emotions, so that they can plunge into this universe, feel every detail, plot, mood. The picture is a window to another world. I have always liked the play of contrast and therefore I was fascinated by the night cities, city lights and dark skies, I was inspired by the work of Jeremy Mann, then I began to try modern impressionism based on contrasts. The weaving style fascinates me, fascinates the gallery owners with whom I work. Now, all my works are based on contrasts, including the subjects of my works: academic realism in the subjects of the Middle Ages, modern impressionism in landscapes. I am into oil painting - a tool that I have mastered in a perfect.
