"The Sound of Silence" Painting

I am Romanian, Italian, and American artist and citizen . I speak four languages; Romanian, Italian, Spanish and English, but the language I love to espress myself, is my art. Life happened like an intense energetic colorful flow to me. I was born in Transylvania, Romania, during the comunism dictatorship, at the edge of the world, in a stunning beautiful and cruel nature, in a place where the laws of the men are hard and life for a child harsh and unjust. After the collapse of communism in 1989, the flow brought me to study to Italy with the nuns (in Rome, Milan, Modena, Bologna, Pisa, Livorno, where I immersed myself in a new life (after 5 tough years living and studying with the nuns), rich of the colors of youth and the music of Italy, expecially after I met my big love. From there the flow brought me and my husband to Germany, where life completed itself with our wonderful kids, Alessandro and Sarah. Now I'm in USA, where all my life experiences are distilled in my art, in my painting . My journey has taught me that we must accomplish art, not in a search to succeed, but in order to inspire. I eventually became a teacher, but painting was still in my blood, and now I have decided to showcase my work for the world My paintings stand for independent thought, and the colors in them are meant to evoke real emotion. Now, I am a person full of color and passion: Romanian, Italian and American citizen. My paintings are just like me, a blend of culture and color, and can be described as a very vibrant, optimistic and colorful observation of a reality. I truly believe that my paintings are full of positive energy and bring happiness to people’s life.
