"When I see the music I hear colors". When I listen to music, I imagine forms and colors. When I paint, my heart fills with music". During breaks of painting when I go for a walk with the dogs, The painting comes to me in the subconscious and I continue and finish the painting only in the imagination and without meaning to. And so I go back to the painting, the brushes continue my line of thought alone. My name is Miki Karni I paint realistic, photo realistic and surrealistic oil paintings in a style that is unique and innovative in the world of art. I love nature and use it in my work as well. I paint on Jerusalem stones, pebbles and kurkar stones. In addition, uses the natural texture as part of the painting. And of course on canvas. The paintings are characterized by; lively colors that illuminate every room and create a calm, unique atmosphere my works display abundant optimism and color. Which imbues me as a creating artist with the ability to produce the maximum from my true essence in life – a painter and artist. For many years, I designed and painted for The Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation. I show in dozens of solo and Group exhibitions in Israel and worldwide. Institutions, high-tech companies, museums, and companies such as have purchased my works: General Electric - U.S, Boeing - U.S, U.S Air Force, GM, Zim, Iscar, Elbit, Israeli Air Force, Israeli Presidential Mansion, U.S. Ambassador’s house, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
