Hi. My name is Hamid(Ali). I am a self-taught painter. Since my childhood, I have been able to see faces and figures on different surfaces and it has always been so fascinating for me to see so many familiar patterns in dead stones, walls, woods, etc. I didn't know that it has also a name and it is called the pareidolia effect or pareidolia experience. I came up with the idea to mingle painting with my pareidolia so I created a technique I called "Pareidolia Paintography" which is a combination of "Painting", "Pareidolia" and "Photography". Following lines, and patterns and finding their connection, these paintings depending on their size and pattern usually take me too many hours (between 30 to >100) to finish. Hope you like them.
