Feró Jámbor was born in 1973 in Salonta. Studies: 1996 - 2001 Department of Art Pedagogy, University of Art & Design Cluj, Romania. Feró Jámbor is a contemporary visual artist who continues the post-war art movements that broke free from social conventions and traditions embracing a completely renewed spirit. He has been influenced by artists such as Rauschenberg, Spoerri, and Wolf Vostell. Jámbor is constantly experimenting and, therefore, does not linger long in any single artistic style. According to his own account, it is essential for an artist to express themselves, follow their inner voice, and explore new worlds. Jámbor pairs images, feelings, and memories from his personal memory bank with the present in a mosaic-like fashion to create a unified vision of the future, thereby showcasing the fragility of our reality. He does not question or assume; instead, he declares and confronts us with ourselves. He does not bind himself to external factors, as he believes that complete mental and spiritual freedom is essential for the soaring of creative energies. Jámbor creates contemporary works that function as open artworks in every sense and reflect on the pressing social issues that concern people today. These pieces spark free associations and inevitable resonances within us. They help us interpret the visual world both within and around us.
