Shota Imerlishvili was born in Telavi, Georgia on November 10th of 1991. He graduated from Georgian Technical University with a bachelor’s degree in international relations. Shota started painting when he was only three years old and studied arts in any art school or university.has been painting ever since, even though he hasn’t professionally studied arts in any art school or university.A different individual style, personal way of perceiving reality and emotions, and the capability to creatively intertwine complex figures and colors, are the main characteristics of my works that outline with one continuous stroke of a hand. My personal way of perceiving the modern world, aspiration to constantly change and evolve, battling with emotions and the curiosity of touching individuals both on a physical and spiritual level are the core components of my inspiration. For me, art is the driving force and a way of survival. I think my art is an expression of protest, emotions, feelings, and love, for me, art is a way of survival. He has the first exhibition on November 11 th of 2019 in Gallery Vache, Tbilisi, Georgia and second exhibition 14 th November in Embassy of Georgia in Brussels,Belgium, he is a participant of John Bryan Awards too.
