Born In the UK, Fulham London, 15th September 1965, I spent my childhood on the Golden beaches of Lowestoft, and my Teenage years amongst the bright lights and carnival atmosphere of Southend. My adult life has also been based in East Anglia, currently centered around Chelmsford City. Mostly a painter,I have always enjoyed making money, and entertaining with my Art, until recently at a more exclusive level. rarely exhibiting and usually locally and always by request, any critiques have always been complimentary, usually describing my work as ECLECTIC. Not only do I enjoy painting in many different styles formats and subject matters I do from time to time, get the urge to sculpt, and create synthesized electronic music too, but mostly I Love to Paint, and the BIGGER the better. I have for some decades now been lucky enough to paint the annual scenery for several local amature dramatic companies, just love the atmosphere, scale and transient nature of those works. One of my other great passions is my photography, which I initially started back in my teens, and the days of celluloid, as a method of instantly sketching, or capturing the fleeting lighting and specific conditions of moment in time, Magic ! I have traveled abroad and to well known landscapes to photograph scenes, architecture and events, but my real love is just the everyday minutiae of nature, the simple glow of a back lit leaf, wild animals, insects, clouds all clothed and sculptured by ever changing light. So you could say I am influenced and inspired by everything that my senses can detect, and my mind can imagine.
