Standing Painting

Dimitri Buiron is a young photorealistic painter based in Angers, France. Approach " My original goal is to blur the line between reality and imagination. During this quest, scenes appear in my mind, in a fleeting and moving way. My obsession then consists in retranscribing these scenes as faithfully as possible. It is this need for accuracy that directs my approach to photorealism. Beyond this technical requirement, i wish above all to be a storyteller. This is why I attach great importance to the staging of my compositions, the subtle contrast between blur and sharpness. This creates a relief and invites immersion in my universe. By mixing dreamlike and photorealism, i narrate the emergence of my imagination in a transfigured reality, tinged with a certain melancholy. My universe reflects a personality in constant duality. Materialized by works with its own voice, marked by poetry and an omnipresent mystery, which leave room for different degrees of interpretation. This inner conflict is reflected in all my works, which approach multiple aspects of the existence. Illustrating little by little a reality such as I feel it as a whole, bittersweet. "
