My name is Liubov, which in my native language means love. I was born in the Soviet Union, but life is a mysterious thing and I was not destined to stay in that country. I grew up in Russia, that's where I learned to paint in oil and also learned other art techniques: drawing with charcoal and pencil, making sculpture, working with gilding and epoxy resin. For the summer I came to St. Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. Many architectural styles rule this city, such as: Peter and Elizabethan Baroque, Empire, Eclecticism, Brick, Neo-Russian, Neo-Renaissance, Pseudo-Gothic, Stalinist Neoclassicism and others... This is where my style of painting was born. I have been living in Germany for the last seven years, here I am free to paint to my taste and have a tiny collection of paintings in Munich. A large collection remained in Russia, in the houses of my family.
