Mart Hemingway is a self-taught acrylic painter, based out of Tokyo, Japan. Growing up with a love and passion for art, he began to pursue creative image making after leaving high school, studying art, design, fashion design and illustration at university. After running a design agency in the UK, Mart decided to move to Japan to pursue his love of Japanese popular culture. In 2014 he relocated to Tokyo City and has since worked on children’s books, artwork for musicians and had paintings exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum.
