Urban art with spray paint mixed with the technique of academic painting on canvas. We can see graffiti, paint splashes, color gradient, paint dripping, on this very elaborate background. The main character is a sexy girl who is putting her fingers in her ears while smiling. A sort of snub to her interlocutor perhaps. The mystery remains intact and all interpretations are possible. A beginning of history is written, everyone can imagine a sequel. This portrait features soft but shimmering colors. The work of the hands is very marked, it is also this very expressive part of the body that the artist highlights in this painting. The young woman has very fine features and her delicate face could make us think that a mischievous side hides behind this angelic appearance. A few touches of fluorescent paint give a lot of dynamism to the painting. This colorful portrait has been made with an art model. Hand signed artwork.

France
Nathalie Cubéro is a French painter, living and working in Aix-en-Provence, France. Her work is based on several techniques inspired by urban art such as graffiti or stencil, but also academic techniques, like leaf gilding, in a special care to marry the opposites. Nathalie Cubéro is interested in the human being in all that is most secret and intimate, and depicts her characters in ambiguous situations, at the crossroads. Her protagonists find themselves face to face with the outside world, but especially with themselves, in an almost sudden detachment of the visible reality towards the non palpable. Something is happening, but the viewer must find the answers in his own emotions. Made of personal or fictitious stories, her paintings illustrate an insidious threat, an unrequited happiness, a silent gesture, as many situations turned towards the intimacy of each individual, thus titillating the imagination of the spectator.
