The image of a woman is the nature that washes herself and renews our civilization. Mosaic cities like microcircuits surround the nakedness of nature. It depends a lot on us whether we will live in harmony with the surrounding world or in conflict.

Oleksandr Yatsenko is a Kyiv artist. The oil technique and the style of "openwork" symbolism are his business card, and they reveal his creative credo the most. In his works, the author raises the themes of identification, knowing oneself as a particle of the universe. Turning to the ideas of ecology and globalization, it shows an alternative reality where nature and the technology of civilization can exist in harmony - without destroying each other.Having received an academic education in 2007, I had to rethink a lot. I did not come to contemporary art right away. Intuition-experiment-copying-search-intuition-analysis. Marina Abramovic mentioned in one of her lectures - in order to create something new, it is necessary to go beyond the usual way of life. Spring 2008. I decided to fast. I lasted for 2 days. At that time, I was fond of impressionists and was inspired by animalism. I studied macrophotography of nature and insects. The iconic painting "Chameleon" is the beginning of my work in contemporary art. The chameleon twists its tail into a spiral. Everything moves in a spiral and comes to a new turn. The idea is self-knowledge. Stylization and symbolism are the main features of my work. The technique of oil painting allows me to convey ideas, embody thoughts and give completeness to canvases. I am very sensitive to the elaboration of details and fine writing. This process brings me aesthetic pleasure. Later, other works were written in the style of "openwork symbolism", a series of which I have been adding to from time to time to this day. The idea of the "Macro World" series reveals the theme of human identification as a part of the universe containing the entire macrocosm. In 2012, the second period began. I was inspired by Art Nouveau. The works of the Austrian architect and designer Hundertwasser. It turned out that my son got sick and I had to postpone my visit to the studio. Sitting in the kitchen and armed with children's felt-tip pens, I began a series of graphic paintings that I called "City in a Woman". Later, these first five works received the Nathan Altman incentive prize at the contemporary art competition in the Shik Vinnitsa gallery. "City in a Woman" reveals the beauty of the urban landscape and the silhouettes of naked women intertwined with the architecture of mosaic planes. The idea is the relationship between the living and the inanimate. A woman as a symbol of nature unites with fabulous landscapes of cities.
