LadyM’s Paintings and Screen Prints are an original mix of pop art and art deco. She manages to bring people, objects and wildlife to life by using only 2, 3 and 4 colour combinations. Whilst the finished work may appear to be a simplistic creation, they are actually incredibly intricate representations of her subject matter. Known, not only for her monochrome stylised paintings, but also for her innovative ‘invisible’ Olfactory Art sculptures and installations. LadyM’s artistic career has spanned the decades, from the creation of outlandish leather club wear and bespoke outfits for numerous bands and performers of the 1980’s, performing with Michael Clark and Leigh Bowery, in Mark E. Smith’s “Hey! Luciani”, to more recently appearing in a glass box with Lewis G Burton at the Bargehouse as part of the Platform 6 exhibition supporting the Stonewall Charity. Currently studying an MA Art & Science at CSM
