Svetlana Kirilyuk was born and spent her childhood in the south of Russia, in Krasnodar region. Her love for art has been inherited from her father who is also an artist. Since early childhood, Svetlana has lived in the atmosphere of art. In 1988 she finished the children’s art school, and she graduated from the art college in 1992, both with honors. Svetlana is into teaching children, including art. So she successfully graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University as a primary school teacher. Childlike innocence, openness to the world and emotionality are the main sources of inspiration for Svetlana. An astonishing riot of life colors, their brightness and expressiveness, an intangible beauty are embodied in Svetlana’s paintings. Each work of her is full of striving to visualize her emotions and impressions on the canvas. Svetlana prefers oil painting; however, she is not afraid of experimenting with techniques and colors. Her paintings are soaked up with feelings; they are the reflection of beauty that is closer than we may think.
