A place where one can unwind and find solace from stress and fatigue, or the inclination to seek out such a space. Querencia denotes the desire to seek out a personal space or a place of refuge where one can rest and recharge when feeling physically and mentally exhausted. Also called Querencia. Originally, Querencia in Spanish refers to concepts such as love, affinity, homing instinct, and haven. In a bullfighting context, it represents the spot where bulls pause briefly to catch their breath and rest during the fight. Querencia is not a designated location in the bullring, but rather a spot where the bull instinctively seeks shelter during the fight. It is forbidden for the matador to attack the bull while it is in Querencia. Similar to how bulls take a moment to rest and prepare for the next stage of the fight in Querencia, modern-day individuals also require their own space to rejuvenate their tired minds and bodies, undisturbed by external factors. Through abstract painting of elemental components with divided sides and spaces imbued with futuristic and mystical qualities, the artist depicted the vast expanse of the universe in the sky and conveyed messages of hope.

https://www.instagram.com/artistzinna/ Zinna Yoo’s Painting Artist Note The artist's works are inspired by nature, which holds infinite possibility, hope, and comfort. The modern human brain is busy all day long. Devices exist even between people, and new infectious diseases constantly emerge, plunging people's minds into anxiety and fear. The purpose of the artist's work is to provide a moment of escape, a chance to forget everything else and find peace, and to serve as a source of motivation to keep moving forward. The atmosphere conveyed in the artwork is one of tranquility, seeking comfort and solace within stillness. The various color tones serve as a special means. to convey a sense of freedom and vibrant energy. The artist has reinterpreted the romantic landscapes of Eastern painting in a modern way, using various colors, straight lines, and curves to express the passage of time and provide a sense of dignity, safety, and infinite possibility to those feeling exhausted by the harsh realities of life. The artist's signature style is characterized by the flowing texture of the tree's bark, the universe like appearance of the sky drenched in water, and the three- dimensional effect of the leaves, which seem to be realistically placed on the canvas. The subtle adjustments in paint density and the masterful application of brushstrokes create a sense of movement and depth, inviting the viewer to fully immerse themselves in the artwork.
