Gavlinsky Denis Saint–Petersburg artist. "Since childhood, I was taught to appreciate and love art and painting. Back in school, all the fields of my notebooks were painted with various pictures and patterns that involuntarily appeared on my paper. Living all my life in St. Petersburg–the cultural capital of Russia, since my childhood I was surrounded by the heritage of tsarist Russia, works of art, museums, palaces, monuments, sculptures and masterpieces from around the world. I admired that great people, creating their works thus created history and centuries later we can see and touch it all. Perhaps this is what gave rise to my desire to draw and create. Growing up, I gradually came to the realization that everyone can try, and the result is not important if this activity is fun. And so, in 2011, I first bought oil paints, brushes, canvas, easel and finally fell in love with his new hobby. I like that in the process of my work I am not limited by any limits. Drawing, as if I am in another dimension, I can be on the roof or in another country, I can see everything in other colors and shapes, I can draw what is not in real life. And the lack of professional art education, which would probably turn my hobby into a craft, gives me truly unlimited opportunities for experimentation."
