My name is Elena, I was born and live in Moscow. I have been drawing all my life, when I was little I drew all the time and it was impossible to tear me away from the paper with pencils, my mother also loved to draw and she gave me the first opportunities to realize myself in modeling, watercolors and other techniques. I was only 3-4 years old when I was already taking my first steps in art. Then there was an art school in Moscow, which I loved very much, and a wonderful time at the University of Design, where I studied to be a fashion designer. During my studies, I was fond of various techniques, I really like graphics and decorative painting, I was also fond of painting on fabric and glass, and of course I sewed a lot, worked with leather and jewelry. All these techniques influenced my work in general, but when I tried oil painting it was love at first sight. My painting has always been distinguished by brightness and contrast, emotionality, conveyed through color. Art is my passion and my therapy, it heals my soul. My paintings are always conversation, thoughts and ideas and often questions. Through art I express myself, communicate with people. There are two main subjects in my work, as well as sources of inspiration - nature and the inner world of man. Sometimes they intertwine or collide, creating fantastic compositions, sometimes I refer to them directly or place them in different cultural contexts. I started my career in the design of printed products, tried myself in photography, interior design, but always returned to painting - this is what I really love and cannot imagine myself without it.
