I was born in Porto in 1977. The passion for Fine Arts has always manifested itself, since primary school. In 1995 I graduated in Contemporary Jewelery at the Soares dos Reis School of Decorative Arts, in Porto, where in addition to learning how to create jewelry, I also took classes in analog photography (a discipline in which I immediately fell in love). Then I attended the painting course at the Escola Superior Artistica do Porto. I joined the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto, in Sculpture, finishing 6 years later ... Since 2003 I have been developing work in contemporary jewelery, always as if they were small sculptures. I love painting in oil. I love the aroma of the substances and the fact that it takes a long time to dry, to allow me to go on working the work, because it is never finished. because the work is always open ... Lately I have been working on the encaustic. It was love in the first experience and I have not stopped ... I love to stir the wax and resins and pigments with my hands ... and on top of the layers, draw with oil bars ... I hope you like my work.. :)
