My self Rupesh Sonar I embarked on this beautiful journey of colors early in my childhood and it gives me an immense pleasure today to be able to touch thousands of hearts through the hues of my paint. How grateful I am to bare my soul through my steady water color study in my first solo exhibition "The Journey of Flow". This exhibition is about my intimate relationship with Art, my impressionist perspective and proficiency with the watercolor flow. I have had moments of enlightenment and self transformation as I explored various arenas of Art. My whole dedication to studying water color landscapes has given me a fresh perspective to experiment with the techniques and the themes I portrayed in 40 plus pieces in this Exhibition. PAll these pieces have stories to tell and are close to my heart. They are a blend of my creative imagination with the backdrop of screen landscape scenery. Nature has always been my inspiration, guide and the main concern of my paintings. In this Exhibition, I am presenting my intimate moments of realization while visiting various places in India like Rajsthan, Varanasi ghats Kokan and Mumbai etc . The calm and quiet life of rural India is so magical to soothe my soul and I tried to spread the same tranquility on the canvas. The wild, sometimes tamed ocean waves make me contemplate on the twisted simplicities of life. How Art keeps the boats of my hopes afloat on the shores of chaotic life. All this philosophy has also been a subject of my Landscape Work. I made an effort to represent the magical hours from Dusk to Dawn and everything in between through the strokes of my brush. I hope these artpieces could move it's art lovers the way they did to me. I am grateful for being given this gift of Art that has revolutionized my entire existence. If I can feel love, it is through the love of Art. Every painting I paint is a tribute and gratitude I pay humbly to that Lord of Nature who knows no bounds to His blessings.
