Virginie Munch's artistic style is characterized by a very personal approach to color, light and form. She often explores themes related to introspection, memory and human emotion, with a certain penchant for abstraction. Virginie Munch's works often have fluid and organic compositions, where the forms seem to dissolve or blend into the surrounding space. Currently based in Reunion Island, an island steeped in vibrant cultural diversity, Virginie Munch is inspired by urban influences such as graffiti, as well as forms and patterns inherited from primitive (african) art. She uses vibrant colors and strong contrasts to create intense and introspective atmospheres. Her color palette can oscillate between warm and cold tones, depending on the emotions she wishes to transmit, often accompanied by interesting textures that add depth and movement to her works. The influence of expressionism and fauvism can be perceived in her work, especially in her way of using color in a bold and unrealistic way, but it is distinguished by a certain fluidity and a more personal search for meaning. Her works seem to be a dialogue between intuition and representation, in a quest for emotions and sensations above all.
