SHIPPING AND RETURNS

I created this painting to capture the raw and untamed essence of a forest landscape. I deliberately avoided smooth transitions to keep the energy alive, making the painting feel more like an evolving moment rather than a finished scene. Magunta Dayakar – Artist & Author Magunta Dayakar, born Magunta Venkata Subba Reddy, is an Indian artist, writer, and filmmaker. He first gained recognition as a popular fiction writer in his native language, Telugu, and has authored 35 novels. He also worked as an editor and publisher, briefly running a feature magazine. Alongside his writing, he ventured into filmmaking—scripting, acting in, and directing two feature films. In addition to fiction, he has written 15 successful books on painting, many of which have received 4- and 5-star ratings on Amazon. Artist Statement: My series titled Imaginative Forest Paintings, numbered 1 to 170 belong to Phase One – Insights & Explorations, where I was exploring form, movement, texture, and drama. From Painting 171 onward, Phase Two – Inner Path begins. In this phase, I continue the same intuitive approach, but with more rawness and freedom. The works are more chaotic, less controlled—closer to how I feel the forest, not how it looks. I paint without preplanning. I stop when it feels alive. I use the knife like a brush, and the brush like a memory. Nothing is imposed—everything is allowed to appear. If a painting feels alive, I stop. I am not painting to impress or explain. I don’t repeat paintings. I repeated the search. That's me.
