Hurt Abstracted Painting

Fine artist based in somerset, currently studying at Bath School Of Art And Design. I have always had a passion for creating an image with 'sublime' qualities. I focus on the paint creating a language with the subject, through fine detail and blending of the medium. My work has moved from human form to the surreal imagery of planetary events and landscapes. I am highly influenced by Romantics, Baroque and Abstract Expressionist era's. I focus on representing aspects of each movement within my work. My practice at present is developing into a fluid motion across the canvas, creating abstract movements in conjunction with fine detail and areas of dialogue. I work mainly with acrylic and oil on canvas and panel on a large scale.
