Alex Perez born in Santiago, Chile, in 1946, fourth generation of artists. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Santiago, he worked in his father's studio - the Ibero-Chilean painter Eduardo Perez - where he acquired most of his artistic knowledge and skill. In 1964, he moved to Israel, where he worked until 2003. Currently he resides in Chile, where he continues his work. His paintings fuses a sophisticated color sensibility with a contemporary realism approach. He seeks out subjects that reflect a beauty, peaceful and harmonious ambience, as a means of transporting the viewer to a serene contemplative visual experience. "Beauty and Simpleness" is the artwork key of Perez landscapes and coastal views. Perez uses numerous techniques to create as oils, acrylics, warecolor, drawings, engravings and murals. His fine art also includes works of stained glass and sculpture in stone. On his fathers side, Alex Perez is the fourth generation of artists trained in fields ranging from painting to architecture. His Spanish ancestors restored murals and frescos in ancient cathedrals of 18th century in Spain, and Perez continued this tradition, creating large murals and stained glass windows that decorate the walls of several of Tel Aviv's synagogues. Perez inherited his love for music from his mother's family, of which came the Philharmonic Conductor Victor Tevah. The inspiration Perez derives from music is reflected in the rhythmic of his brushstrokes, colors and in the "atmosphere" of his paintings. In August 2009 he founded the PEREZ FINE ART GALLERIES online with the purpose to bring out a bridge between artists and art collectors. .html Linked In:
