(English version) Born in Spain in 1980 from Palestinian origin. I'm a photographer, journalist, and painter. Art is not art until it is recognized as such by the viewer. But, what is art? Could we say that all beauty is art and vice versa? The beauty is anything that causes you a feeling that doesn't leave you indifferent. No matter if the feeling is negative. There may be pretty ugly beauty and nice beauty. The important thing is to awaken your emotions. Then, and only then, can be considered as art. The author of a work can't rate her/his own creation as artistic, because her/his subjectivity prevents herself/himself suppressing her/his own emotions that have led directly to its creation, therefore, the term of art, can only be granted by the viewer which receives work objectively. Otherwise it would be but a tremendous show of ego. So if not the pursuit of beauty...which brings me to paint? The same impulse that leads me to photograph, to sing or make love. The simple yet complex search expression of my intimate emotions. Each subject has its own language and, therefore, needs a different expression. A piano doesn't sound like a violin... Why shouldn't be the same with emotions?
