EUGENIJA MARTINAITYTE was born in Kaunas and has been living in Vilnius since 1955. Higher education - KTU economy. Doctoral dissertation defended at Moscow State University of Management (1979, nostrified in 1993). Associate Professor in Social Sciences (nostrified in 1993). Included in Lithuanian and US encyclopedias, and has written about 30 scientific publications in three collective monographs. In 1986, she headed the Dep. Vilnius Technical University. Director of Programs at the Open Society Fund Lithuania since 1992, later headed the Lithuanian Institute of Banking, Insurance and Finance until 2004. Worked as an associate professor at Vilnius University, Vytautas Magnus University, International School of Management (ISM),Mykolas Romer University. In 2017 the doctoral thesis of here supervised Phstudent R. Kregždaitė was recognized among the top five in the field of social sciences and humanities in Lithuania.
