"Frankfurt" Painting

Born 1950 in Warsaw. Lives in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Architect, psychotherapist, artist - for me these are not three separate roles. I create my pictures and my psychotherapies. Spontaneity must be well planned. Not just a psychotherapist and artist, I am an architect as well. (See: .pdf ) My pictures tell stories. My stories paint pictures. Relaxing. Informal. And very simple. Just like life. Life is very simple. And if you go about it the right way, it will go right. And if you go about it the wrong way, it will go wrong. And there is no right in wrong, Adorno was correct about that. And as Oscar Wilde said: "Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life". So have a look. And when we look, we will see. The art I create shows, in my opinion, more truth about human life than scientific articles or texts on psychology. Human beings suffer because they perceive their lives to be boring and kitschy, devoid of meaning. And that is always the case, when something is fake and not authentic. Seen in this way, the Bundespräsident [Federal President of Germany] Christian Wulff is a true representative of the German people. In my psychotherapy practice, I attempt to achieve the architectural and artistic aim of transforming kitsch into art. This is because kitsch is what happens when someone aims for the stars but hits the ceiling instead, for example when a chicken wants to fly like an eagle but just ends up helplessly hopping around and cackling. Every work of art contains something of the melancholy. However, all art also expresses the possibility of renewal, change, further development and metamorphosis. That is to say, life. And not to forget hope and comfort. When a work of art is understood, it becomes part of the story, history, the past. Life is there but can only be understood when it is no longer there. As women are especially full of life, and are even capable of producing life, they cannot be understood. Even they do not fully understand themselves. Just like life itself. Men cannot give birth to new life, but they can shape the living as art. If they are able to. Life is always contradictory, only death is constant. People therefore feel at home with art, because, without art, people are more dead than alive.
