Emergence of The Divine Painting

I am a contemporary abstract painter, originally from South Korea and currently living in the beautiful Island of Gods, Bali, Indonesia. I received my master degree in Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, after finishing my undergraduate study in English Literature and Psychology in Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. I have always used abstract forms to capture my deep emotions and psychological flows. However, my perspectives for life and art have been shifted greatly since I started to seek truths in life 9 years ago. The seeking naturally happened as I tried hard to cope with a series of some tough life challenges soon after moving to Bali. As a result, I gradually started to infuse the spiritual dimensions in my abstract paintings. Now I see my creations as more than just beautiful pieces of art. They have become to have purposes as I have become more deeply conscious over the years. They are here to touch your soul and do their divine work within you. I also make many custom pieces that are created all individually, taliored to each client's needs and values. Each piece is the result of manifestation through me from the very seed my client plants himself/herself. I hope my art to connect with people in a deeper level, going beyond the physical and psychological dimensions, so that they can re-find their inner connections that often stay inactivated subconsciously or unconsciously. That is my goal as an artist or a creator, and my own way of contribution as a life being. My paintings have been collected & displayed in many corporate offices and homes around the globe. And I have been showing my work through both online and offline exhibitions. I am currently planning to have my first solo show in Bali, Indonesia early in 2022.
