The work of Santi Sindoni is based on an artistic-centric vision of the creation of the Universe. Art and Science were both created at the moment of the Big Bang, and along with all the elements of the Universe, represent the unique, peerless masterpiece of its creator. So, in this context, Science has the task of describing reality and the laws that regulate the occurrence of phenomena in the Universe. The task of Art is to illustrate the expressive, chromatic values of the Universe while it is expanding through Time and Space and giving rise to All, that is, to the continuous birth, death and rebirth of everything. So, through Science, Maestro Sindoni investigates everything that makes up the Universe, and through Art, he portrays every aspect of it. PSYCHOMATTER - Psychomatter is the artistic trend founded by Maestro Santi Sindoni. While finding its roots in Expressionism (from which it has borrowed the tendency to favour and intensify the emotional side of reality over the objectively perceptible) and in the oneiric capacity to see “beyond reality” that characterizes Surrealism, Psychomatter ventures further to include in its investigation the very psyche of matter, in the sense of everything that occupies space and has mass. Indeed, no component of the Universe is given importance for its exterior appearance, instead attention is concentrated solely on the whole intimate microscopic psychological process that leads each component to take on a determined appearance. This means ceaseless investigation and burrowing, into oneself and others, to find the deepest motives that rule the psyche of each single cell, which, in this way, has its own emotional, sentimental and relational functions independent from its material dimension. Thus, Psychomatter undertakes to seek out the fundamental values of the Infinite and to study the psychology that rules matter and antimatter, to better understand the psyche of mankind and its link with life and death, with good and evil… In essence: to understand who we are and where we come from, and how much we ourselves are part of the Universe. MICROCHROMATISM - Through the “Microchromatism” style, which characterizes the series of 500 unique pieces dedicated to “portraits of cells”, Maestro Sindoni has concentrated on a chromatic study of Matter and Antimatter.
